This Summer I love white capri's! I'm seeing them everywhere and on everyone...and I have to say it makes me want to run out and buy some TODAY!

You may think that white makes you look bigger or white is just waiting for ketchup to spill, but it really makes any outfit more summer-y. Just pretend that's a word. Pair white pants with, well...anything! Use the usual "pants rules" when choosing a great pair. I personally love the skinny capri pants. Have fun with this look and carry a TIDE pen...just in case :)

Memorial Day Outfit

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hopefully you'll be enjoying the great weather (in Indiana) this weekend by going to a cookout or having a picnic at the park! This weekend calls for a comfy beautiful dress!

On Memorial Day I usually try to wear red, white, or blue. You can thank my mom for always dressing me up in coordinating holiday colors when I was a child :) Pair your dress with metallic flip flops, fun jewelry and braided hair. Be sure to keep your make-up light. By adding thick eyeliner with a light pink lip you will look made up with out being too over the top.

Remember the true heroes this Monday, our courageous soldiers! They are the reason we are free to chose the way we dress, say what we want to say, and can be anything we want to be. America is truly the best place place on earth!

Do you have a dress that is strapless or low cut that you want to wear to work? The answer is turning that dress into a skirt with one simple addition!

A sweater in either a long or short sleeve can turn any dress into a skirt. I love this idea because it makes the most of the items in your closet.

Below I paired a low cut leopard dress with black peep toe heels and gold jewelry for a night time look. For work I paired the same dress with a red sweater in a lightweight material and nude shoes (so not to distract from the printed dress and colorful sweater).
