In order to transform yourself out of a fashion rut, you have to change your way of thinking. Look through fashion magazines and find one you like. I suggest subscribing to at least one magazine. I subscribe to LUCKY and People Style Watch. I absolutely LOVE theses magazine and follow them religiously. Also don't forget to go online to the magazine's website and subscribe to it. You will receive weekly or even daily inspiration from designers all over the world! Find a style by browsing pictures and finding a link between them all. I love French flair mixed with bohemian.

Of course I wouldn't replicate these outfits exactly, but you can see a similarity between them all. Each one has a high waisted skirt with a tucked in shirt. Just by mixing up the colors, materials, and patterns each outfit is unique. So here's my wish list when I shop:

*High waisted skirts in mid length and long maxi length.
*Shirts in a light weight cotton than can be tucked in without bulkiness
*Loose cardigans in white, beige, and black. These colors will go with any outfit.
*Denim vests in blue and white
*Shoes with a heel or wedge. This will anchor the outfit and add a girlie flair.

Now is the time to go through your closet, take out all the clothes that don't go with the "new you" and sell them to Plato's Closet. Use your money to update the remaining clothes and add some girlie pieces.

Spring has sprung in all the department stores, do I really need to give you a reason to shop? Don't forget to take your wish list with you! Don't shop with out it from now on, blind shopping will waste your money and time...for example all the clothes in your closet with tags still on them! And don't forget to have fun!! XOXO
